Cleaning up Inside Corner Welds - advice appreciated

For stick welds on inside corners (say, 7014 or other common rod on mild steel angle for drawer support rails), an angle grinder obviously isn't going to poke in to clean up a weld. No problem on the outside of the corner, just as obviously. Does a needle scaler have the stuff to do inside corners, or is it too dainty? If it is OK for this purpose, what particular features of a needle scaler ...
